July 1-5: Joseph Shaules will be presenting at the International Association for Cross-cultural Psychology Congress (Guelph, Canada). Presentation title: The Deep Culture Model of Intercultural Adjustment. This presentation will report on a three-year study of long-term sojourners that explores this question. It touches briefly on existing models of intercultural adjustment. It discusses research methodology, which consisted of semi-structured interviews of 24 long-term expatriates.
